Wellbutrin (Bupropion) Common Uses: Wellbutrin (Bupropion) is an antidepressant used to treat depression. Wellbutrin (Bupropion may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How to use Wellbutrin (Bupropion): Follow the directions for using Wellbutrin (Bupropion) provided by your doctor. Wellbutrin (Bupropion) COMES WITH A PATIENT INFORMATION LEAFLET. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. SWALLOW WHOLE. Do not crush or chew before swallowing. Wellbutrin (Bupropion) MAY BE TAKEN WITH FOOD if it upsets your stomach. STORE Wellbutrin (Bupropion) in a tightly-closed container at room temperature below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C), away from heat and light. CONTINUE TO TAKE THIS MEDICINE even if you feel better. Do not miss any doses. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF Wellbutrin (Bupropion) , take it as soon as possible. If you are taking 2 doses a day and it is less than 8 hours until your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Wellbutrin (Bupropion) Cautions: SEVERAL WEEKS MAY PASS before your condition improves. Continue to use Wellbutrin (Bupropion) for the full time recommended by your doctor. THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE DIZZINESS. DO NOT DRIVE, OPERATE MACHINERY, OR DO ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS until you know how you react to this medicine. Using this medicine alone, with other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE of bupropion; doing so will increase your risk of having a seizure. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Limit or avoid consumption of alcoholic beverages; alcohol can increase your risk of seizures. Chronic alcohol users who suddenly stop the intake of alcohol while taking this medicine may increase the risk of having seizures. FOR WOMEN: THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED IN BREAST MILK. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.

Wellbutrin (Bupropion) Possible Side Effects: SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include restlessness, agitation, dizziness, dry mouth, difficulty sleeping, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, change in weight, or tremor. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience mental/mood changes or palpitations. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience seizures. IF YOU EXPERIENCE difficulty breathing; tightness of chest; swelling of eyelids, face, or lips; or if you develop a rash or hives tell your doctor immediately. Do not take any more doses of this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
